For each experiment, a standard curve needs to be set for each microplate, and the specific OD value may vary depending on different laboratories, testers, or equipment. The following example data is for reference only. The sample concentration was calculated based on the results of the standard curve. The minimum detectable concentration of DLL4 is less than 5.0 pg/mL.
Ten replicates of each of 4 samples containing different DLL4 concentrations were tested in one assay. Acceptable criteria: CV＜10%.
Five samples containing different concentrations of DLL4 were tested in independent assays. Acceptable criteria: CV<15%.
Recombinant DLL4 was spiked into 3 human serum samples, and then analyzed. The average recovery of DLL4 for serum samples is 89.2%.
Delta-like protein 4 (DLL4) is also known as Drosophila Delta homolog 4 (Delta4), which contains one DSL domain and eight EGF-like domains. DLL4 is expressed in vascular endothelium. DLL4 is involved in the Notch signaling pathway as Notch ligand, which can activates NOTCH1 and NOTCH4. DLL4 is involved in angiogenesis and negatively regulates endothelial cell proliferation and migration and angiogenic sprouting. DLL4 can bind to Notch-1 and Notch-4.
